“Great store — huge selection of all sizes and a range from typical labels to very upscale designers to choose from. They carry clothing, shoes & accessories and prices are good.” — Laura T.
“My partner and I had been spending a lot of money for high end designers i.e. Versace, Ralph Lauren etc. Only to get hair color and hair bleach on my expensive wardrobe. (hairdresser here!!!!)
I am a huge fan of shopping at consignment places. Not only did I find my favorite designers but, as well I didn’t pay the full retail value like dept. Stores. Lol! And I usually spend hours trying on clothes after clothes to find the very thing i want. Thank you Greene Street for being on top!” — Richie C.
“Everything at this GSC is awesome. All very fresh and exciting, barely worn inventory. I counted at least 6 Lily Pulitzer pieces (dresses and skirts) in varying sizes as well as other brands I won’t mention as to drum up too much interest in this location b/c I want them for myself! Sorry but consignment can be hard to find. Fortunately for me I live minutes away and this store is a great addition to Chestnut Hill. ” — Amber M.
Chestnut Hill, Men's Store
"First, solid dudes run the place - friendly and helpful. Second, best men's wear ANYWHERE - The best designers and everything in beyond excellent condition. The quality and the staff will blow your mind. Shoes, athletic wear, suits, phat shirts, dress shirts...the list goes on and on. Just go. Also - flasks and wallets - perfect for the wedding party." –Mike D.
Great place great staff great Gear! I really don't want everyone to know about it because that means it's less for me! –Mikki W.
“...Definitely recommend this place not only for the stylish, affordable clothing, but also for the shopping experience. In my experience, the salespeople are helpful, enthusiastic, and fun without being over the top. ” — Maria S.
“Staff was super friendly and helpful - which is very important to me. Also the merchandise is great. I could’ve spent all day there. Got a beautiful purse for 40 bucks. They have some reasonably priced items but it’s all great stuff not like you have to dig to find something good.” — Jessica E.
“Such a great find for consignment stores. I am so happy I went inside to browse. The store is very well-organized with more of a boutique feel than a consignment store. The selection of designers was impressive-on the day I went the selection varied from Lily Pulitzer to Michael Kors to Tory Burch with quite a bit of names like Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, and The Limited. Everything was very reasonably priced and looked brand new. ” — Dana J.
“Really bright and clean shop with gently worn clothing, and some great accessories. The store is very well organized, and easy to find the items, sizes you are looking for. I always stop in when I’m in town, and usually do not leave empty handed. Great selection.” — Anita R.
“Greene street= my obsession! Love being able to find quality and designer clothes for cheap and everything is always in new or like new condition. They sell everything from Casual clothes and accessories to formal gowns and designer bags. The store is always extremely clean and well organized.” — Valerie F.
“This place is awesome! When in home visiting my parents in Princeton I have to stop by! I live in Brooklyn, NY and we don’t have an awesome consignment store like this one! Also has some great deals for men upstairs! And Don’t forget to look at their jewelry section! Sometimes I find the coolest and most unique items!” — Stephanie M.
“Fun place to look for clothes. Since they accept more stylish clothes than other consignment stores in this town, this place is definitely more interesting than [the other consignment stores] to me. Also the prices are more reasonable at Greene st, let’s not forget we buy used clothes here. Sometimes you can be lucky to find clothes with original tags tho. Employees are very sweet here. ” — Daniela J.
“GREAT STORE! Bought and sold clothes here. Great quality and so fair! Highly recommend to buyers and sellers!” — Lilli P.
“Had the most amazing experience at this location. Incredibly helpful, great inventory, and sweet staff! And I left with a gorgeous Herve Leger. Will definitely be returning!!!” — Kelliann M.
“I am so in love with this place. My sister purchased a Tiffany sterling silver necklace that is to die for!!!!!!! I also purchased some dresses that I fell madly in love with. Next time, I’m in town, I will stop by again, and again ...” — Jacinta P.
“First time in Philly and walked by this place while in the neighborhood. We spent about 45 minutes here, my friend found a couple clothing items at a good price and I found 2 purses. Both leather, in perfect condition, brand name, a good deal...The staff was nice and patient while I asked to see a handful of the bags up at the front behind the counter. The store was organized pretty well by size and type of clothing. Not sure about the men’s selection or taking my clothes to be consigned there but we walked out happy shoppers.” — Vivian L.
“Been there and bought a beautiful Zara for men jacket at a low low extraordinary price!! I’m mos def a fan now !”— T R.
“I love the staff at the store. We agreed that humor and are extremely helpful in helping me locate different sizes. Compared to [other consignment stores] Greene Street is a little more expensive, but the quality of clothing is much nicer. Make sure you check in regularly if there’s a particular item you were looking for. They’re always adding new things to the shelves. I snagged a Marc Jacobs leather Crossbody bag for only $40. It was placed on the shelves last night. Lucky me!” — Laura R.
“This is an excellent Greene Street with plenty of options to choose from. I’m both a frequent shopper and seller at this location and I think the selection and staff are what makes this store superior to other consignment shops. I’ve always been greeted by a pleasant staff member and have had any selling concerns immediately addressed by the store manager who does an excellent job corresponding via phone and email. Some of my favorite purchases at this location: Lilly Pulitzer sweater, Michael Kors wallet, Lululemon pants. It’s a must see!” — Jae R.
“I just started consigning with Greene street a few months ago, but so far I’ve had a great experience! I brought in several bags of clothes and they took a little less than half. The rest I donated to goodwill- no problem but a little disappointing. You drop off your items and someone looks at them right away. After they accept the stuff, they send an email with prices and the date to claim unsold items. Then you just wait for your clothes to sell. Two months is a long time to wait, but it gives you a better chance of having your clothes sell and make more money. It also takes a little while to get the check, but I’ve made more money here than at other places I’ve tried, such as plato’s clothes or clothes mentor. The staff is very friendly & often have helpful options while shopping.” — Isabella A.
